About the Opportunity

\n

This opportunity is for experienced equity research professionals to support projects involving fundamental equity analysis, financial modeling, earnings evaluation, valuation, and investment research. Candidates will apply their expertise to assess company performance, evaluate financial information, and deliver high-quality research and investment insights.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Review financial models, research materials, and investment analyses for accuracy and quality.
\n
• Analyze earnings reports, estimate revisions, management commentary, and company disclosures.
\n
• Conduct peer benchmarking, comparative company analysis, and sector research.
\n
• Develop and evaluate revenue, profitability, cash flow, and valuation models.
\n
• Prepare concise research summaries, company updates, and investment insights.
\n
• Assess industry trends, competitive dynamics, and company-specific catalysts.
\n
• Develop investment theses supported by quantitative and qualitative analysis.
\n
• Identify key drivers affecting business performance and valuation.
\n
• Provide detailed feedback and recommendations to improve research quality.
\n
• Collaborate with stakeholders on financial analysis, data quality, and research initiatives.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Extensive experience in equity research, investment research, fundamental analysis, or related financial research roles.
\n
• Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise.
\n
• Experience analyzing earnings reports, financial statements, and company disclosures.
\n
• Ability to connect business drivers with financial outcomes and valuation implications.
\n
• Experience in peer benchmarking, sector analysis, and competitive research.
\n
• Strong understanding of investment thesis development and fundamental research methodologies.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Strong analytical thinking, financial reasoning, and attention to detail.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience as a sell-side research associate, research analyst, Vice President, Director, or in a similar investment research role.
\n
• Experience independently covering public companies across multiple earnings cycles.
\n
• Sector expertise in financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare, biotechnology, technology, industrials, consumer, energy, or real estate.
\n
• Advanced modeling skills, including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and sector-specific valuation methods.
\n
• Experience publishing research reports, earnings notes, and investment recommendations.
\n
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, industry dynamics, and investment decision-making.
\n
• CFA designation or progress toward CFA certification.
\n
